Mitch

PitchPoint Public Relations & Creative Services was founded by Mitch Delaplane in 2007. Prior to PitchPoint’s launch, Mitch spent nine years servicing Fortune 500 consumer clients and sports marketing properties at some of the world’s largest public relations agencies.

Over the course of his career, Mitch has worked in a variety of integrated PR campaigns, new business pitches, managed crisis situations and has helped with corporate communications and business to consumer marketing. As a freelancer he has worked with an array of clients, from non-profit endeavors to personal publicist for professional athletes to supporting big name brands like Lexus, McDonald’s and BP Fuels North America with integrated PR programs.

PitchPoint has national media contacts but still understands the importance of regional coverage. Mitch can assist with corporate strategy, message development and media training. He also packs light and can be on a plane to support an onsite event at the drop of a hat. He’s also been known to fill-in for maternity leaves and executive sabbaticals.

When he’s not working for his clients Mitch can be found reading, writing and cooking – all at the same time. Yes, he’s that good.

Mitch resides in Chicago with his wife Pam and bloodhound Sally.
